Evergreen Park Couple Welcomes First 2023 Baby At Advocate Christ.

OAK LAWN, IL — An Evergreen Park couple welcomed the first baby born in 2023 at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.

Baby Noah Turner arrived at 2:53 a.m. January 1. Proud parents are mom Brittany Nowell and dad Terry Turner. Baby Noah clocked in at 6 pounds, 7 ounces, and 20 inches long.

Lopa and Aashish Vyas, of Lemont, greeted their daughter, Aalora, who came into the world at 12:37 a.m. at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove. Baby Aalora is among the first children born in Chicago-area hospitals after midnight January 1, and possibly the first baby born in the new year. Aalora weighed 6 pounds, 10 ounces, and is 18 inches long. She has a big brother waiting at home.

Over at Advocate Sherman Hospital in Elgin, baby Lilliana Xiomara Reza Sarmiento arrived at 2:38 a.m. January 1, weighing 6 pounds, 3 ounces, and 19. 5 inches long. Proud parents are Monserrat Sarmiento and Brayan Reza, of Elgin.
