EVERGREEN PARK, IL -- Evergreen Park School District 124 recognized veterans on Friday, Nov. 10, by holding two separate Veterans Day ceremonies.

Veterans were invited to Central Middle School in the morning to join students for a special breakfast, which was followed by an assembly that featured performances by the band and chorus.

Northeast School held a ceremony of its own later in the day, again recognizing veterans through the reading of a poem and singing of patriotic songs.
