EVERGREEN PARK, IL — The Evergreen Park Public Library, 9400 S. Troy Ave., wants students to continue to use library resources for school work when schools reopen in the coming weeks. However, due to the ongoing pandemic, the library has instituted some temporary chances.

“We welcome students to use our resources for school work, but we are operating at limited capacity. At this time we cannot accommodate students in the building for non-library purposes,” the library said in a statement.

Here are 5 things to keep in mind:

1. Do not designate the library as the after school pick up point for your student.
2. No congregating inside or outside the building can be permitted.
3. Face coverings and physical distancing are required at all times.
4. No food or beverages (even covered).
5. Computer access is limited to one hour, and study room use to 90 minutes while in high demand.
