Evergreen Park Library Seeking Youth Services Assistant

EVERGREEN PARK, IL -- The Evergreen Park Public Library is looking for an exceptionally friendly, outgoing, and fun-loving person to work in our Youth Services department. The Youth Services Assistant participates in planning, promoting, and implementing programs for children ages birth to grade 5, and participates in all activities of the department, including answering reference and reader’s advisory questions, collection maintenance, marketing, and outreach.

Candidates must be available year-round to work a schedule that includes working 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday, and a twice-monthly weekend rotation of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday.
