Evergreen Park Library's Gigantic Sale Offers Books And More

EVERGREEN PARK, IL — Discover a treasure trove of books, DVDs, CDs, VHS tapes and audiobooks at the Evergreen Park Public Library’s annual gigantic sale. The sale kicks off from Aug. 10 to Aug. 15.

Patrons can browse items during regular library hours, which will be offered at bargain prices. Buck-A-Bag days are Aug. 14 and Aug. 15. Fill a bag of books for $1.

Volunteers are still needed. If interested in helping out during the sale, email Mary Kay at faheydewey@hotmail.com.

The final day to donate books, DVDs, VHS tapes and audiobooks is this Friday, Aug. 7. Donated materials must be "quarantined" and disinfected for 72 hours before being offered to the public.

Room capacity limits, face covering use, and social distancing will be strictly enforced. Library hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday; and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Find the Evergreen Park Public Library at 9400 S. Troy Ave.
