Evergreen Park Offers Two Locations To Recycle Broken String Lights

EVERGREEN PARK, IL — Evergreen Park residents can recycle string lights that are not working at Village Hall, 9418 S. Kedzie Ave. or the Evergreen Park Community Center, 3450 W. 97th St. Lights will be collected through Jan. 15.

Broken string lights are one of the most common holiday waste items. If you have broken lights, don’t through them in your recycling bin because they can get wrapped around recycling equipment.
