Evergreen Park Police Offer Amnesty For Overdue Citations

EVERGREEN PARK, IL — Do you have overdue parking, red light and local ordinance citations that you’ve been putting off paying? The Evergreen Park Police Department is offering a one-time amnesty program for unpaid citations.

The program allows a one-time 50-percent reduction on the balance owed on overdue citations if paid in full before June 15.

Amnesty Program Details:

• The amnesty program allows a one-time 50% reduction of the balance owed on overdue citations if paid in full before June 15, 2024.
• The 50-percent reduction is available to anyone with overdue parking, red light, or local ordinance citations that are currently in collection.
• The amnesty period expires on June 15, 2024. No extensions beyond that date will be granted. After June 15, 2024, the full debt will be due.
• No refunds for payments made prior to the amnesty period will be issued.
