Evergreen Park Residents Asked To Weigh On Economic Development
Evergreen Park's Economic Development Advisory Group wants residents' feedback on new businesses or service on a community survey.
EVERGREEN PARK, IL – The Village of Evergreen Park’s Economic Development Advisory Group is seeking feedback from residents to identify new businesses or services that are needed in the village.
The Economic Development Advisory Group first met earlier this year with a goal to develop new strategies to bolster economic development within Evergreen Park. A subgroup within the committee is focused on bringing new businesses to Evergreen Park, while also working on the retention and expansion of existing businesses already in the village. An important step to this is gauging the needs of residents by finding out what businesses keep them in the village and what businesses or services they leave the village for.
“Our working group created this survey to help guide recommendations on what new businesses we recruit to Evergreen Park, and we are very excited to get the community’s feedback,” said Reid Nuttall, a member of the Economic Development Advisory Group and owner of Cool Clouds Vapor Shop. “By opening up the survey to all residents, we can obtain better data about the needs and desires of the community.”
