“Like you, I can’t imagine the shock, fear, grief, and loss that the community of Uvalde is experiencing,” EPCHS Fine Arts Chair and activities director Amy Kazin said, who organized the act of kindness. “It is difficult to know what to do in times of horrible tragedy like this, but it is our hope that something as small as a ‘bear hug’ can make a difference.”

“A small gesture like this might bring just a moment of joy or surprise during the dark days ahead.”
