Ex-Employee Wanted for Making Threats: Cops
Arrest warrant issued for ex-Meijer employee who allegedly threatened to beat up former co-worker and swore at police.

EVERGREEN PARK, IL -- Evergreen Park police are searching for a former employee who allegedly made verbal threats to a co-worker.
A detective was in court Tuesday, seeking an arrest warrant for 29-year-old Dwan Redd. According to the detective, Redd approached a former co-worker working in the grocer secton at Meijer, 9200 S. Western Ave., Evergreen Park, on Feb. 18.
Redd and the co-worker have had problems in the past, the detective said. Redd allegedly threatened the man, stating: “Yo bitch ass, I ought to beat your ass since I don’t work here no more.”

Redd is currently on supervision for a misdemeanor gun charge.
The detective said he made contact with Redd once, who swore at the detective and then hung up the phone.

The judge issued a $75,000 warrant for Redd’s arrest.
