Enjoy an evening of stories, wine and cheese with authors Sheila Lamb Gabler and Rose Gabler, Friday, Oct. 7 at the Evergreen Park Library.

EVERGREEN PARK, IL — Authors Sheila Lamb Gabler and Rose Gabler go behind the scenes of their family-owned funeral home at the Evergreen Park Public Library Friday, Oct. 7, starting at 6:30 p.m., when they discuss their book, “Laid to Rest: The Hopes, Haunts and Humor from My Life Above a Funeral Home.”
“Although Laid to Rest is all about funeral homes and death, it is not a sad read. The book highlights my experiences and life lessons that were humorous, scary, wild, and unusual,” said Sheila Lamb Gabler. “This book will show you the other side of being LAID TO REST.”
Enjoy a story-filled evening and a wine and cheese reception. Books will be available for purchase. Register at the library website. The Evergreen Park library is located at 9400 S. Troy Ave.
