Flood Brothers Named New Residential Trash Hauler In Evergreen Park

EVERGREEN PARK, IL — The Village of Evergreen Park announces a new residential trash hauler. Effective Jan. 1, Flood Brothers Disposal Co. will provide weekly garbage, recycling and yard waste collection in the village.

Service schedules will change from Monday through Thursday to Tuesday through Friday. Residents in the southeast quadrant will change from Monday to Friday service. All other residents will maintain their current service day. Residents will continue to use their current refuse, recycle and yard waste carts.

Waste Management’s last scheduled service week will be Dec. 26 through Dec. 29. The first collection week with Flood Brothers will be Jan. 3 through Jan. 6.

Due to the New Year’s holiday, collection will be delayed by one day. Normal Tuesday through Friday collection will resume the week of Jan. 9. A detailed collection guide will be mailed to all residents.

Southeast Quadrant Residents

There will be a special collection for southeast quadrant residents on Dec. 30. The next pickup will occur Jan. 6, due to the New Year’s holiday. The first regular Friday collection Jan. 12.
