Free Movie in the Park: Disney's 'Sleeping Beauty'
Dress as your favorite Disney character and come to Klein (Circle) for the 1959 Disney classic 'Sleeping Beauty' on Aug. 21.

Before ‘Frozen’ there were the classic animated Disney princess flicks of the 1940s and 1950s that still hold up today.
Evergreen Park will be screening Walt Disney’s 1959 “Sleeping Beauty,” the story of a malevolent fairy who gets even after being snubbed by the royal family by placing a curse the king and queen’s lovely young daughter. When Princess Briar Rose pricks her finger on her sixteenth birthday, she falls into a coma-like sleep.
With the help of three good fairies and a prince’s kiss, the Sleeping Beauty awakes and everyone lives happily ever after.
