Green Yard Waste Pick-Up Nears End For Season

EVERGREEN PARK, IL — Waste Management's last day to service residents green yard waste can is Wednesday, Dec. 15. (The Southwest Quadrant's final yard waste pickup is Thursday, Dec. 9).

Bulk leaf pickup will be wrapping up this week as well, especially since there is snow in the forecast.

Also, please remember that waste cans need to be removed from the curb by 8 p.m. the day of your service. In addition to keeping the streets clear and available for parking (always an issue!), leaving your cans in the street is also a home security issue. Leaving the cans in the street can be a sign that no one is home and makes your home a target for thieves.
