Gunmen Shut Down Bishop Ford Thursday Morning
Argument leads to shooting which forced State Police to shut down the highway for several hours.

An argument in downtown Chicago Thursday morning led to a shooting on the Bishop Ford Expressway Thursday morning, forcing State Police to shut down the highway for hours during the morning commute.
The shooting took place just before 5 a.m. after two men got into an argument with two other men and a woman. The trio drove away, entering the Stony Island ramp but the two men followed and fired shots at their vehicle, according to State Police. The gunmen then fled and the victims drove to a nearby police station. One person was sent to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
State Police shut down the outbound Bishop Ford between 95th Street and 103rd Street, as well as the Interstate 57 interchange, until almost 8 a.m. and troopers combed the expressway as part of their investigation.
