I-55 Lanes to Close Saturday for Pulaski Road Bridge Inspection

A routine inspection of the Pulaski Road bridge over Interstate 55 (Stevenson Expressway), just one mile east of Cicero Avenue, will take place, weather permitting, Saturday morning, Oct. 25, according to IDOT. It will be necessary to temporarily close some of the northbound and southbound lanes of I-55. The right lane of northbound I-55 is slated to be closed from 7 a.m. until 9 a.m. The right lane of southbound I-55 will be closed from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. The two left lanes of I-55 in both directions will remain open. Motorists can expect delays and should allow extra time for trips through this area. Drivers are urged to pay close attention to flaggers and signs in the work zones, obey the posted speed limits and be on the alert for workers and equipment.
