BRIDGEVIEW, IL -- An <a href="http://www.isp.state.il.us/" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">Illinois State Police Trooper</a> was injured in an eight-car crash Tuesday morning on the Tri-State Tollway near Bridgeview. Three other people were also injured. The cause of the accident is still under investigation. The accident happened around 10:20 a.m. Tuesday at the I-294 southbound exit to 95th Street, according to the <a href="http://www.isp.state.il.us/" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">Illinois State Police</a>. In addition to the trooper, a 28-year-old Oak Lawn woman and a 67-year-old Bolingbrook man were injured. Another 51-year-old woman was injured but her address is unknown. It was several hours before debris could be cleared from the tollway.
