Little Company Of Mary Maintains 'A' Grade In Hospital Safety
Little Company of Mary Hospital earns consecutive A grade from the prestigious Leapfrog Group for improving healthcare for patients.

EVERGREEN PARK, IL— Little Company of Mary Hospital and Health Care Centers in Evergreen Park maintained its “Straight A” report card for hospital safety. The designation from the Leapfrog Group recognizes the Evergreen Park hospital’s efforts in protecting patients from harm and providing safer health care.
The Leapfrog Group is a national non-profit organization committed to improving health care quality and safety for consumers and purchasers. Safety grades are assigned to hospitals across the country based on their performance in preventing medical errors, injuries, accidents, infections and other harm to patients in their care. Little Company of Mary received a similar “A” grade this past spring.
“Receiving consecutive ‘A’ Grade Hospital Safety Scores in both Spring and Fall 2019 validates our commitment to the quality and safety of our patients and is a significant milestone on our journey toward High Reliability,” said John Hanlon, MD, MMM, President and CEO of LCMH.

The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade uses 28 measures of publicly available data to assign grades to more than 2,600 U.S. acute-care hospitals biannually. Developed under the guidance of an expert panel.
