Manhattan Short Film Fest Screens At Evergreen Park Library
View and vote on the 10 finalists' films from six continents during three screenings Sept. 30 to Oct. 2 at the Evergreen Park Library.

EVERGREEN PARK, IL — Evergreen Park joins over 500 venues worldwide to view and judge the work of the next generation of filmmakers from around the world. The Manhattan Short Festival, featuring ten works from six continents, will be screened at three different times at the Evergreen Park Public Library, 9400 S. Troy Ave.
The final ten Manhattan Short finalists hail from eight countries with films from U.K., Afghanistan, Northern Ireland, Norway, Italy and Canada, alongside two films each from France and USA. These Final Ten selections represent the best short films from among 970 submissions from 70 countries received by Manhattan Short for 2021, testimony to the enduring vibrancy and creativity of short films worldwide. Upon entry, audience members will be handed a ballot to vote for the best short film and best actor in the fest. Running time is 2 hours, 26 minutes.
Screening times are 6:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 30;10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 1; and 1 to 2:30 p.m. Oct. 2. The same films will show each screening at the library. Registration is required. Face masks are required.
