EVERGREEN PARK, IL -- Take your dad to the Most Holy Redeemer Parish Carnival featuring five fabulous days of food, music, big rides, games, raffles and fun. The carnival runs Father's Day weekend, June 12 through June 16, at 95th Street and Lawndale Avenue, Evergreen Park. This is MHR's 43nd annual carnival.

MHR festival hours are 6 to 11 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, June 12 and June 13; 6 to midnight Friday, June 14; 5 p.m. to midnight Saturday, June 15; and 3 to 10 p.m. Sunday, June 16.

Highlights include carnival rides provided by Windy City Amusements, games, DJ, , split-the-pot raffles, pull tabs, children's face painting and MORE. MHR will also be raffling off a wagon of booze, a board of gift cards to local eateries, and a board of lottery tickets, plus grand raffle prizes increasing in value each night. The beer garden will be open all five days, with different community groups tending bar each evening.

A new carnival raffle, the Last Queen Standing, also makes its debut. The carnival committee is hoping to draw a lot of attention and excitement in this new raffle. The Last Queen Standing features 75 cards, 4 queens, and 28 great prizes! The last queen revealed splits the pot. Tickets are $20 for 22 and $5 for 5.

For eats, Barraco’s, Cravings of Evergreen Park and tacos by Edgar Perez will be sold throughout the carnival.

Live music will also be performed every night starting around 8 p.m. in the beer garden (21 and up). The featured lineup includes:

Wed. June 12 -- Over the Side Band (Americana Country Soul)
Thurs., June 13 -- Rocks Off (Rolling Stones Tribute Band)
Fri., June 14 -- Juke Shakers (blues, rock), Chicago Stockyard Kilty Band
Sat., June 15 -- Sean and Charlie (alternative, blue grass, celtic)
Sun., June 16 -- Brian Lawler, DJ Jim Burke
