EVERGREEN PARK, IL — Fifth grade students at Most Holy Redeemer in Evergreen Park have been busy researching famous people from history, learning about their interests, accomplishments, and legacy. In May, fifth-grade students showcased what they have learned at the school’s annual living wax museum event.

“This is a project that gets students excited about history,” said fifth-grade teacher Browyn Azzarello, who organizes the event. “The wax museum activity helps the children realize that all people are capable of doing amazing things.”

The event demonstrated the students’ great depth of knowledge and authentic learning experiences. The students were engaged as were parents and other guests who attended the event.
