Most Holy Redeemer Teachers Form Car Parade To Visit Students
Teachers and students from Most Holy Redeemer visit each other from a safe distance during coronavirus shutdown. Watch the video.
EVERGREEN PARK, IL — Teachers and staff from Most Holy Redeemer School in Evergreen Park lined up in their cars and visited their students from a safe distance. Kids got to take a break from their e-learning lessons and wave at their teachers from their windows or front lawn.
Students also made signs and stood outside on the sidewalk with their parents. It was clear that the kids and their teachers missed each other after the governor ordered all public and private schools closed in Illinois. Schools are tentatively set to reopen on April 7, but that too is subject to change.
Teacher-car parades are the latest rage as 100 million Americans remain under stay-at-home orders to flatten the curve of coronavirus.
