This summer, a different live performance is featured each month on the Joliet Area Historical Museum’s scenic Outdoor Rooftop Terrace. Doors open at 6:45 pm, shows start at 7:30 pm. Beverages (Soda, beer, wine, water) available for purchase (coffee & snacks are free). Only $8.00 for Museum Members & Students or $10 for General Public. In case of inclement weather, shows will be held in the Museum’s Indoor Auditorium.
Our next concert is Thursday, July 14th featuring Chicagoland’s own, M&R RUSH bring their 2016 Life Is GOOD Tour to the Rooftop playing their own hits and other classic rockers from Styx, Led Zeppelin, Queen, Foreigner & more!
M&R Rush had its beginnings in the early 70’s, when a five high school friends from Chicago’s Roseland neighborhood had a dream of making it in the music business. In 1980, “The Loop” radio in Chicago chose M&R Rush to be on their first hometown album, and the song “Rock & Roll Chicago”, written and performed by M&R Rush, became the most requested song off the album. Recently reunited for special tours, M&R Rush has shared the stage with Styx, Survivor, Sammy Hagar, Judas Priest, Black Oak Arkansas, Head East and others. A don‘t miss show!
