Mustang Athlete Of The Week: Diego Abonce
The junior bowler has a high game of 225 and a 203 average so far this year.
EVERGREEN PARK, IL - Diego Abonce, a junior leader on the Evergreen Park Community High School Boys Bowling team, is the Mustang Athlete of the Week.
In three away matches a week ago, Abonce bowled the team high series in all three games, as well as the high game in two of the matches. He currently has a 203 average with a high game of 225 out of six games bowled.
"Diego has come a long way since making the team last year," EPCHS Boys Bowling Head Coach Ron Pula said. "He has become one of our strongest bowlers this year. We are very hopeful of many good things from him and hopefully some medals and a strong output come conference and state champion series time."
