Mustang Athlete Of The Week: Sarah Beyer

EVERGREEN PARK, IL - Sarah Beyer, a senior captain on the Evergreen Park Community High School Girls Swimming team, is the latest Mustang Athlete of the Week.

Beyer had a stellar conference meet, Head Coach Sarah Marshall said, dropping over a second in her 50 freestyle, and almost two seconds in her 100 freestyle.

"Sarah works extremely hard at practice and is a great captain to her team," Marshall said. "She had the team's fastest splits in both her 200 and 400 freestyle relays."

This is the second week in a row in which a Beyer has been named Mustang Athlete of the Week. Sarah's sister, Katherine Beyer, was the Mustang Athlete of the Week a week prior after qualifying for the Cross Country sectional round.
