NASA Ambassador Michael Stellfox discusses the moon landing 50 years ago this month July 8 at the Evergreen Park Library.

EVERGREEN PARK, IL -- It was 50 years ago this month when Americans crowded around their television sets to watch astronaut Neil Armstrong take the first steps on the surface of the moon, fulfilling the challenge made by President Kennedy in 1961.
Join NASA Solar System Ambassador Michael Stellfox for a trip back in time to revisit the men and machines of the Apollo Program, the first expedition to a new world. Stellfox offers a riveting discussion of the events of July 20, 1969 at the Evergreen Park Public Library.
The talk starts at 6:30 p.m. July 8. Registration is required for this FREE event. The Evergreen Park library is located at 9400 S. Troy Ave.
