New Skechers Outlet Opens In Evergreen Plaza

EVERGREEN PARK, IL -- California-based shoe retailer Skechers USA has opened a new store in Evergreen Plaza. A village official said the store opened last week but has not yet reached out to plan a ribbon-cutting for a grand opening.

The new Skechers retail store opened last week at 9580 South Western Ave. Skechers was founded in 1992 and sells casual and athletic shoes and accessories for men, women and children. Its products can be purchased at department, specialty and independent stores, as well as through more than 2,600 Skechers retail stores and online throughout the U.S. and in 160 countries and territories, according to the company’s website.

The brand is endorsed by numerous celebrities for its comfortable and relaxed footwear, including recording artist Camila Cabello, sports legends Tony Roma, Sugar Ray Leonard and Sir Ringo Starr.

Skecher’s store hours in Evergreen Park are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.
