NHS Students Host Toys For Tots Drive At EPCHS This Week
Evergreen Park residents are encouraged to help students gather donations for Worth Township families in need.

EVERGREEN PARK, IL – Students at Evergreen Park Community High School are helping out the less fortunate this holiday season. The school’s National Honor Society is holding its annual “Toys for Tots” drive this week, benefitting residents of Evergreen Park and Worth Township.
From Monday, December 13 through Friday, December 17, EPCHS students are encouraged to drop off a new, unwrapped toy or book in the school’s Learning Resource Center before or after school. A dozen or so toys had already been dropped off by Monday morning.
“As Mustangs, we have a duty to serve our community considering all it has given us,” NHS President Caroline Duffy said. “This is an opportunity for us to give back to those who have provided our school with endless support.”

Student donors will be entered in a raffle to win a gift card to a local restaurant.
The NHS is extending the donation opportunity to the public. Donations from the public may be dropped off at the school’s front desk security station during school hours, or by setting up a time with NHS Sponsor and Social Studies Division Chair Ben Nesler, at bnesler@evergreenpark.org.
