Nicor Begins Meter Switch in Evergreen Park

EVERGREEN PARK, IL -- Nicor Gas is making significant service upgrades in the area. United Meters will be actively switching out the gas meters beginning with every household in the northwest section of Evergreen Park. The work will start this week.

Workers will need to access residents’ homes to make sure pilot lights are relit after the gas is turned back on. Representatives from United Meters will have very visible identification. The process will only take a few minutes.
