Northeast School teachers receive $10K donation from Burlington

Funds to be distributed among staff members for the purchase of classroom supplies

Burlington Stores, Inc., through its partnership with AdoptAClassroom.org, has donated $10,000 to Northeast School in celebration of its new store in Evergreen Park.

The funds will be distributed among staff members for the purchase of supplies for their classrooms. Burlington surprised staff and students with the donation during an April 20 assembly.

According to Principal Jacquelyn Janicke, the teachers will use the funds on a number of new items.

We are thankful for the support we received from Burlington and AdoptAClassroom.org.”
