Northeast Students Spread Kindness To Frontline Hospital Workers
Northeast Elementary School's Kindness Club donates meals and cards to local heroes at OSF-Little Company of Mary Medical Center.
EVERGREEN PARK, IL —Students at Northeast Elementary School lived up to their name — the Kindness Club — by supporting frontline workers at OSF-Little Company of Mary Medical Centerwith meals for the hospital’s night crew.
Since most of the incoming donations have supported daytime workers, advisers Linda Blaeser and Cindy Haase decided to bring Pappy’s wraps and pasta salad, along with veggie trays and cookies, to the nighttime employees.
Several Kindness Club members also made signs and wrote notes to the nurses and doctors, and one student – Ryan Brennan – made beaded bracelets for the staff.
