Diamond gems

Coach John O’Connor says: “We can be really good if our pitching comes through and we limit our errors. We hope to get in the top three in our conference and advance out of the regional, but our underclassman have to grow up in a hurry."

College recruits: Teresa Ziebarth was an all-conference pick last year and hopes to play on the next level. Mary Sims and Alyssa Langevin are four-year varsity regulars. The two hope to play their way into the scholarship picture with good senior seasons. From last year's team, two Mustangs players--Theresa Urchell and Leslie Christopher--moved on to play college ball at Moraine Valley.
