Over 40 Local Artists Featured At Shu Shu Laru Art & Craft Show
40 unique artists will be displaying and selling their work on Saturday, Oct. 19, at the Evergreen Park Community Center.

EVERGREEN PARK, IL — More than 40 unique local artists will be displaying and selling their works at the Shu Shu Laru Art & Craft Show making its first appearance at the new Evergreen Park Community Center, 3450 W. 97th St. The show takes place this Saturday, Oct. 19, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Peruse paintings, sculpture, jewelry, ceramics, terrariums and much more. There is also a kids corner.
The first show was hosted by Ms. Shu Shu Laru (her Vegas name) last year in her home with eight artists. Her son, local artist Dan Doyle, who painted the mural in the new community center, hosted a show in his Evergreen Park home with 16 artists.

“It was received very well by the community,” Doyle said in an email. “My goal is to continue to bring art into the Evergreen Park community.”
