Palos Heights man tells Evergreen Park cops that he has heroin in his anus during a traffic stop, prosecutor said.

EVERGREEN PARK, IL -- A Palos Heights man pulled over for a traffic violation was arrested after he told police he had two bags of heroin in his anus, prosecutors said. Brian Franey, 29, appeared before Cook County Judge Michael Kane on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance. Franey also has another pending drug case from 2017.

Just after midnight on Aug. 9, Evergreen Park police pulled over a driver, later identified as Franey, for an alleged traffic violation in the 8700 block of South Pulaski Road. As officers approached Franey’s car, the prosecutor said he could be seen making “furtive motions in his groin area.”

When officers asked Franey if he had any drugs in the car, Franey allegedly admitted to having two bags of heroin in his anus.
