Come to Sexton Park Friday, Oct. 27, for some Halloween family fun featuring tours of The Barn, costume parade, pumpkin patch and more.

EVERGREEN PARK, IL — Paint a pumpkin, prance in a parade and pet animals this Friday, Oct. 27. The Halloween parade steps off at 6 p.m. at James J. Sexton Park, 91st Street Rockwell Avenue. Children must be accompanied by a parent.

Kids up to 11 years old can show off their costumes in a parade, and pick a pumpkin in the pumpkin patch (one pumpkin per child). Halloween activities feature a costume parade, pumpkin decorating, hayrides and goodie bags. Light refreshments will be served.

While you’re there, stop by and pet some horses and goats at The Urban Barn open house. Thanks to Pete’s Fresh Market for donating the pumpkins.
