Leadership students at Evergreen Park Community High School have posted uplifting messages on posters throughout the school and on each student's locker as the school's Wellness Week began on Monday.

Notes left on lockers include messages such as "Stay positive," "Your happiness is important," and "You can make someone's day."

"We like to get them up the Friday before Wellness Week begins, so the students see them when they go to their lockers first thing in the morning," Thomas Fitzer, a school social worker and leadership co-sponsor at EPCHS, said Monday. "We like to kick off the week on a good 'note.'"
