Queen of Martyrs Fest 2018: What You Need To Know

EVERGREEN PARK, IL -- Send summer out in a blaze of glory at Queen of Martyrs parish carnival. The 2018 edition of Martyrs Fest runs the weekend of Sept. 21, Sept. 22 and Sept. 23. MartyrsFest is Queen of Martyrs' main fundraiser of the year, so come hungry, thirsty and ready to play some raffles or hop on the some rides. We've rounded up the most important details.

Queen of Martyrs, 10233 S. Central Park Ave., Evergreen Park.

Hours

Friday, Sept. 21 - 5 p.m. to midnight, rides end at 11 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 22 - noon to midnight, rides end at 11 p.m.
Sunday, Sept. 23 - 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The Bands

Friday, Sept. 21

• Bad Penny, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
• M&R Rush, 8:30 to 11:30 p.m.

Saturday, Sept. 22

• Trainwreck, 6 to 8 p.m.
• Dancing Noodles, 8 p.m. to midnight

Raffle and Games 'o Chance

Raffle tickets are available for $50 at the church rectory. Only 1,000 will be sold and the grand prize is $10,000. A total of nine cash prizes will be given.
Pull-tabs and split the pot will also be available at the fest. Win a liquor basket, 42-inch flat screen TV and much more in the basket raffles. Bingo takes place on Sunday from 2 to 3 p.m. under the beer tent.

Special Events

Saturday, Sept. 22 - Children's games in St. Joe's Room from noon-4 p.m.
Sunday, Sept. 23 - Outdoor Mass at 11:30 a.m., weather permitting.

Mega Passes/Unlimited Ride Passes

Three-day mega pass $40 before Sept. 20, after $45. Unlimited ride day pass is available for $20, fnoon to 4 p.m. Saturday; 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Tickets will also be sold individually for $1 or sheets of 20. Rides are provided by Alpine Amusement Company.
