Rep. Kelly Burke Goes On 'Mystery Reader' Tour of Local Schools

The Evergreen Park lawmaker shares love of reading with students in Evergreen Park and Oak Lawn.

EVERGREEN PARK, IL -- Rep Kelly Burke (36th District) went on a whirlwind tour of local schools as a “mystery reader” for Read Across America Day.

Burke stopped by Alison O’Connor’s third grade class at Southwest Elementary School as their mystery guest reader. The state representative also paid visits to Queen of Martyrs School in Evergreen Park and Oak Lawn-Hometown Middle School in Oak Lawn.
