“We are hoping for another beautiful day,” Mayor Kelly Burke said. “Our residents are ready to participate in some outdoor festivities, and the Village and Recreation Department are excited to put this all together. These are events that normally would take place in the heat of summer, but now it is very nice to put a different spin on them, make them a little different, and offer them when the temperatures are a little more comfortable.”
The Evergreen Park Historical Commission will have their display room open in the Community Center from 2 to 5 p.m.
