Oak Lawn Man Accused Of Blackmailing Ex-Girlfriend on Facebook

Bridgeview police said man sent videos and photos to ex-girlfriend showing her in state of undress and threatened to "ruin her reputation."

BRIDGEVIEW, IL -- Bridgeview police were in court seeking a warrant for an Oak Lawn man on charges of electronic harassment. A detective told the judge that Zaid Joudeh, 20, was sending unwanted texts and private Facebook messages to his former girlfriend.

On Dec. 10, 2017 Joudeh allegedly sent a video to his ex-girlfriend showing her in her underwear and several private messages on Facebook. Joudeh threatened to share the images with her family in order to “ruin her reputation,” the detective said. Police looked for Joudeh at his home in Oak Lawn, but couldn’t find him. The judge issued an arrest warrant with a $7,500 bond.
