Glock Falls Out Of Hospital Visitor's Motorcycle Helmet: Cops
Bridgeview man who allegedly brought Glock to Advocate Christ Medical Center charged with violating conceal-carry act and reckless conduct.

OAK LAWN, IL -- A Bridgeview man was arrested after his Glock fell out of his motorcycle helmet and landed on the floor at Advocate Christ Medical Center, reports said. Mohammad Banibaker, 22, was charged with violating the conceal-carry act and reckless conduct. Police said the gun was loaded with 15 rounds and one in the chamber.
Oak Lawn police responded to a report around 8:51 a.m. Aug. 22 of a visitor, later identified as Banibaker, who allegedly came to the hospital armed with a handgun. Officers were also told that Banibaker was being cooperative and security had possession of the gun, police said.
According to the report, the security director said Banibaker came to the hospital to visit his fiance. Security received a call from a nurse who stated that while in the room, she went to move Banibaker’s motorcycle helmet when a black holstered Glock fell out of it and landed on the floor. The nurse told police she entered the patient’s room. When she went to move the motorcycle helmet a big black object fell out. Police said the nurse asked what it was that fell on the floor, when Banibaker allegedly told her that it was “just my gun” The nurse got scared and ran out the door.
While officers were talking to the nurse, security had already escorted Banibaker to the lobby. Banibaker told police he got a call from his fiance who needed him at the hospital. Banibaker said he was on his motorcycle and knew he couldn’t bring the gun into the hospital, but he was more worried about his fiance, reports said.

Banibaker allegedly acknowledged to seeing the “no guns” sign on the door. When he got to his fiance’s room, he put his holstered gun inside his helmet and fell out when the nurse moved it, reports said. Police said Banibaker’s conceal-carry license was valid. Banibaker is scheduled to appear in court Oct, 11 in Bridgeview.
