1 Killed In Domestic Shooting At 107th And Central Park

A 26-year-old man was shot to death during a domestic fight in Mount Greenwood on Thursday, police said.

CHICAGO - A man was killed Thursday afternoon in what police have described as a domestic-related shooting in the city's Mount Greenwood neighborhood. The man, a 26-year-old, sustained a gunshot wound to the body and died at the scene in the 10700 block of South Central Park Avenue around 3:17 p.m., according to police.

The shooting was a result of a physical altercation in which a person pulled out a gun and shot the victim. Police did not immediately issue more details.

The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office did not immediately have information on the reported death. The victim has not been identified by police either.
