Seniors Shine In EP Bowling's 1st Ever Win Over Richards
The "Fab 5" senior bowlers for Evergreen Park Community High School led the Mustangs to victory on Senior Day at Arena Lanes.

EVERGREEN PARK, IL - The group of five seniors on the Evergreen Park Community High School Boys Bowling team were all on the mark as the Mustangs defeated Richards High School Thursday night at Arena Lanes, marking the Evergreen Park program's first-ever win over their Oak Lawn rival.
Fittingly, the victory came on Senior Day, the final home game of the year for the Mustangs.
The varsity Mustangs defeated the Bulldogs, 2041-1912. Connor Pula led the way with a 472 series, as Matt Summers added a 254 game, Jaden Gil a 406 series, Nate Chacon a 223 game and Tristan Wagner a 383 series.

"It was a great and emotional night," EPCHS Boys Bowling Head Coach Ron Pula said. "Great bowling by all 5 in the victory against Richards."
The junior varsity Mustangs team won as well, 1436-1330. Diego Abonce paced the JV with a 323 series as LeLand Rodriguez added a 202 game.

The wins put the varsity at 11-3 on the year, with the JV now at 11-2.
"We had some early season struggles, but we've turned the corner and have been bowling better lately," Pula said.
