Shots Fired At Car, Occupants Cars May Have Gotten Into Beef: Police
Evergreen Park police said occupants of both cars had picked up carryout at Barraco's and may have gotten into a confrontation.
EVERGREEN PARK, IL – Evergreen Park police are asking residents for information and possible identification of a man who fired shots from a vehicle on Oct. 13.
Around 2:42 a.m., officers responded to the area of 99th Street and Lawndale Avenue for a report of shots fired. Officers canvassed the area, where they learned of a confrontation between the occupants of silver 4-door sedan and the occupants of a red 4-door sedan.
Officers learned that the occupants of both cars had earlier gone to Barraco’s carryout to purchase food and alcohol.

As the occupant of the red sedan returned to his vehicle, he fired six shots from a handgun in the direction of the silver vehicle, which was now traveling westbound on 95th Street in the 3700 block.
The alleged shooter is described as a Hispanic male around 20 years old, who was wearing a bright red puffy jacket, blue jeans and white gym shoes. Police said he was ast seen leaving the area in red car.

Police say no injuries reported. There are no reported injuries in this incident. Evidence was collected and the investigation continues.
