Sign Up for Evergreen Park Rec Department's 5K Run, 2M Walk, June 27
Start Evergreen Park's 'Day In the Park' block party off with a brisk 5K run or 2M walk, benefitting local autism organizations.

Runners and walkers still have time to register for the Evergreen Park Recreation Department’s 5K Run/2M Walk on June 27, in Klein Park, 3740 W. 97th St.
The featured run and walk kicks off the village’s “Day In the Park” block party featuring food, drink, live entertainment, arts and crafts and plenty of fun family activities.
The run and walk features a TAC certified course and a quarter-mile junior run for kids age 12 and under. Family members (limited at three) are encouraged to sign up as a team. The race and walk begins and ends in Klein Park and takes participants on a tour of the village’s neighborhoods.

The run and walk is open to all. Proceeds from the race will benefit local autism organizations.
Runners and walkers have until June 26 to take advantage of the early bird registration fee. Race-day registration will also be taken from 7:30 to 8:15 a.m. The run/walk starts at 8:30 a.m., Saturday, 27.

Early bird registration, through Friday, June 26:
- 5K Run - $30
- 2M Walk - $30
- Family team - $25 per person (limit three)
- Junior quarter-mile run for kids 12 and under, free with entry form signed by parent.
Race day registration, 7:30-8:15 a.m., June 27
- 5K Run - $35
- 2M Walk - $35
- Family team - $30 per person (limit three)
Each participant in the 5K run and 2M walk receives a t-shirt, sponsored by the United Home Owners of Evergreen Park.
