Evergreen Park took care of Rich East in a semifinal game at the Mustangs' own regional softball tournament. Junior starting pitcher Michelle Putlak led the way for the Mustangs, throwing a no-hitter in the 10-0 five-inning victory. In the fifth, junior third baseman Victoria Senerchia ended the game for the Mustangs with a two-run double that would have been an inside-the-park grand slam but for the 10-run rule. The victory was the sixth straight for Evergreen Park.  and .
