U.S. News & World Report researched and compiled a list of the top programs in the nation.

St. Xavier University has earned the title of second-best online graduate nursing program in the country, according to the 2015 ranking by U.S. News & World Report.

The No. 2 spot puts the school ahead of more than 1,200 distance education degree programs in the U.S., according to a St. Xavier news release.

St. Xavier’s program was ranked No. 1 in 2014, but the school fell behind the Medical University of South Carolina in this year’s list. The ranking is based on criteria such as faculty credentials and training, student services and technology, student engagement and admissions selectivity.
