Students Inducted Into National Honor Society At EPCHS

EVERGREEN PARK, IL – Evergreen Park Community High School inducted 47 new members into its National Honor Society in a ceremony held at the school on November 17. The school also honored the accomplishments of the 47 graduating senior members of NHS during the same ceremony.

“It was a magical night that celebrated the hundreds of hours that these students have given in pursuit of excellence while at Evergreen Park,” said Ben Nesler, NHS adviser at EPCHS.

The induction of the 47 new members, mostly juniors, ensures “that the legacy of Scholarship, Leadership, Academics and Service continue to thrive at EPCHS,” Nesler added.

The ceremony’s keynote speaker was Patrick Elwood, WGN-TV Channel 9 news correspondent. Elwood’s daughter was among the senior NHS members who were honored that night.
