Summer Construction Projects in Evergreen Park
Work has already begun on one street paving project. Some alleys and sidewalks to get cleaned and fixed.

Evergreen Park has five construction projects planned this summer, one of which has already begun. Keep an eye out for construction crews and plan your commute accordingly.
According to Public Works Director William Lorenz, the projects include:
Paving

- The roads between 95th Street to 99th Street from Artesian Avenue to California Avenue will be repaved. Gallagher Asphalt won the low bid. The project has already begun and should be completed by the end of August.
- Three alleys in the 9200 and 9300 blocks between Pulaski Avenue and Harding Avenue, and the 8800 block between Kedzie Avenue and Troy Avenue, will be repaved. Before which the village will install storm sewers. Evergreen Paving Inc. won the low bid. The project should begin and end in July.
Sidewalk Improvements
- The sidewalks along 95th Street will be cleaned and sealed during the night. Plotke Asphalt Co. won the low bid. The project should begin and end in July.
- Crews will perform a 50/50 sidewalk replacement in select locations. More details to come. Bids for this project will be opened on June 30 at 10 a.m. The project should begin sometime in July.
- Streets in the Northwest and Southwest areas of the village will be patched. More details to come. Bids for this project will also be opened on June 30 at 10 a.m. The project should begin sometime in July.
