Tampa Bay Buc Pat O'Connor Raffles Shoe For Christmas Without Cancer
Christmas Without Cancer will raffle off a shoe worn by Tampa Bay Buccaneer and St. Rita alum Pat O'Connor and other prizes on Feb. 4.

CHICAGO — The weekend before Super Bowl LVII, Christmas Without Cancer will be raffling off an amazing prize package, including a shoe worn this season in game #12 by Tampa Bay Buccaneers Defensive End Patrick O’Connor. The raffle is part of the third annual Touchdown Showdown. One lucky winner will win O’Connor’s shoe, and $500 in cash, showcased inside a Tampa Bay Buccaneer's medallion picture frame.
Tickets are $10 and may be purchased now through Saturday, Feb. 4 at St. James Place, 5305 West 95th St., Oak Lawn. St. James Place is open daily from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Tickets may also be purchased online by visiting Touchdown Showdown Raffle.
A live drawing will take place at St. James Place at 8 p.m. on February 4th. The event will also be livestreamed on the Christmas Without Cancer Facebook page.

My Cause, My Cleats allows football players to choose a charitable cause of their choice. Players are able to wear custom cleats showcasing their cause. This is the third year O’Connor has dedicated his My Cause, My Cleats game to Christmas Without Cancer, and has donated a shoe to be used to raise funds for the organization.
“Pat O’Connor has been an amazing supporter of Christmas Without Cancer, and we are so appreciative that he once again selected our organization for the My Cause, My Cleats game,” said Renee Copeland in a news release, vice president of Christmas Without Cancer. “Through his generous support, we are able to continue to help Chicago-area patients and families battling cancer.”

Since 2003, Christmas Without Cancer has aided thousands of people across the Chicagoland area by providing holiday gifts, as well as necessities to local families that are stricken with cancer. Founded in 2003 by a Chicago oncology nurse, the organization quietly identifies and adopts multiple families throughout the year. Christmas Without Cancer supplies them with gift cards for groceries, medications, gas, and other “need” items, as well as help with mortgage payments, rent, daycare expenses, tuition and travel-related expenses for treatment.
